 St. Anton am Arlberg, commonly referred to as St. Anton, is a village and ski resort in Austria. It is located in the Tyrolean Alps, with aerial tramways and chair lifts up to 2800 m. It is also a popular summer resort for hikers and climbers.
    St. Anton is often considered one of the best ski resorts in the world in terms of both available skiing and post-skiing entertainment.
   St. Anton is part of a ski resort in the Arlberg region, which includes 94 cable cars and lifts, 340 km of groomed slopes and 200 km of deep snow slopes, all covered by a single lift.
   Well-run races in the region provide all levels; 43% are for beginners (blue slopes), 41% for intermediate skiers (red slopes) and 16% for the most advanced (black slopes). There are also a large number of off-piste routes in the area that can be explored by experts with a guide.
 To get to St. Anton you have to fly to Innsbruck Airport, which is the nearest, but skiers also use Zurich, Memmingen and Munich airports
