Low cost transfers to Val Thorens
Val Thorens Ski Resort, located in the French Alps at an altitude of 2300m, is the highest ski town in Europe. The resort is part of the 3 Vallees ski area, which is one of the largest associated ski areas in the world. The slopes of Val Thorens face north and northwest, providing good snow conditions, however, the resort itself faces south and, finally, skiing, many people like to sit outside in the sun.
The Val Thorens resort is usually open to skiers from mid-November to early May. The highest ski facilities are Pointe du Bouchet (3220 m) and Cime de Caron (3200 m).
The nearest airport is Chambery, just 120 km away. More often, skiers use Geneva Airport to go to Val Thorens, less than 160 km away.
If you plan to go by train then go to Moutiers train station and from there only 37km up the hill by taxi, bus or private transfer.
